His paper 1s already
self-supporting after
three months in business,
and he’s getting good
feedback. AN this and he's
only 18 yeais old

Paul Dickson 1s the one-
man show behind The Inner \
Sanctum, a monthly newsletter-
style paper directed at North
Shore youth.

{t's avaiable free from stores
such as 7-Elever and Mac's, and
delivered door-to-door in some
areas of town

Produced from his bedroom with
desktop publishing technology. the
newsletter has included stores about
teen fashion. Jocal bands. entertainment
and health, and upcoming in june is a
cover feature un the environment

While the advertssernents he se!ls cover
his production costs. The Inner Sanctum
doesn't make him much money.but Paul
dazsn't seem to mind.

“t'm looking more for experience than to get rich quick.”
says Paul, who attended schools in Burnaby and Hawan
beicre moving back to North Vancouver,

He says he is getting a foi of support from readers
