TOYOTA IS is getting a head start on 1991 with its latest
creation...the MR2.

‘“This car appeals to the serious sports car enthusiast who
appreciates the innovative technology,”’’ says Alistair Dun-

can, sales manager of Jim Pattison Toyota.

The MR2 has kick — it goes from 0 to 100 kph in 5.9 se-
conds on turbo models. The car also has excellent handling
all the way to top speed of 150 mph.

Mileage is good, too, at 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on
the highway.

Options include turbo engine, leather interior and ABS
brakes.

A theft deterrent system, compact disc player and 200
horsepower is also availble on the turbo model.

The MR2 starts from $23,548.
