Volunteers recognized THE NORTH Shore Information and Volunteer Centre (NSIVC) is planning a large event to mark Na- tional Volunteer Recognition Week, April 17 to 23. Royal Shopping Centre, South Mall, at 7:30 p.m. The evening will see all three, North Shore mayors. make certifi- cate of appreciation presentations _to agency representatives on behalf “of the hundreds of volunteers who assist and support community ser- vices in North and West Van- couver, At least 300 volunteers will be -entertained by. members of Street Access, Randy Charach and Norman Foote. Charach is a magician and Foote is an expert at crowd-roaming characters. For this - event he will entertain guests with his ‘‘big-foot’’ character.
