SHORT of an impending meteorological
miracle, the outlook doesn’ t look that bright

for a ski resort. -

The. nightly frost cover-
ing is hardly likely to en-
tice even the most
desperate ski fatiatic onto’
the Skyride. And though
the, weatherman doesn’t
totally rule out patches of
snow on higher ground,
there’s no indication that
the precious white stuff is
about to fall in great
dollops and form a well
