Three years ago, Caroline Price and her mother were devastated when their cat Babe disappeared. They tied everything to find it again, bur to no avail. “We did all the usual things,” said Price. “We put up. signs and _called the SPCA.” After some time, memo- ties of Babe faded and the two Lynn Valley residents slowly moved on with their lives, forgetting about the white fluffy creature that was no longer with them. (ef Lansdowne) Then, out of the blue, came a recent phone call from the SPCA as well as a lady living several cks away. Both called to say they had found Babe — only he was dead. Babe had been run over only blocks from the Price residence.
