That way I could keep up with the news and make my critics twice as mad. The excuses having been offered, let me catch up and do my bit for the Jenny Kwan and Ted Nebbeling (or Nibbling) story. The Kwan girl was rude, wrong and arrogant to bab- ble away in Cantonese. But she knew what she was doing. She knew no one would understand a word she said. She also knew she could always tell the fawning media she was doing it for the holy cause of multicult. She knew further that even if someone did object it would be a gift from the gods — made to order for the politically correct. The CBC, always on its knees where multicult is concerned, led the parade. Supposedly there to preserve the nation, it can’t wait to get rid of it. The largest newspaper in the West was on side, too. It’s racism, you see, when a white person acts as Nebbeling did, but quite OK when a Chinese gal out of Hong Kong stands up for her race. What she was reafly say- ing was: screw you guys. We've arrived. And one of these days we’re going to take you over. Tt may not be next year or the year after that but the day will come. She plaved her cards per- fectly. She blubbered on cue for the TV cameras. And it was Page One stuff for the Vancouver Sun. Especially when she whined on about how Nebbeling brought back for her all the alleged racist torture that she had ro limit to brotherly love if one is a Liberal and the other an ND Per. With awkward things like budgets being in the news, the NDP milked the incident for all it was worth. Never Stops: bawling abour “racism.” Yet he comes to this country, gets himself a tax-supported university education, becomes an MLA and then an attorney general, bur never stops grinding his organ about how wicked we are, “Extremists,” etc. He and others hke him can indulge in such verbal gymnastics because we have become wimps, having had our “sins” drummed into us every hour on the hour for years. John Twigg watches these things at first hand and puts out a newsletter in Victoria called the Twigg News.
