Election Fraud IMlegal

How can you sue a government for lying? Easy.
Live in British Columbia. BC has a unique law
that-specifically prohibits using “fraudulent
means" to win votes..We can show that Glen
Clark's NDP did use fraud to win votes: In the
1996 provirciai election, the NDP crowed
about how they had balanced two successive
provincial budgets. The truth is the NDP has
never balanced a budget since coming to
power in 1991.

Citizens Suing NDP

The NDP didn't come clean about their budget
fudging until after they won the election. They
thought they got away with it ~ but they were
wrong. Three courageous BC citizens decided
to sue the NDP for fraud, charging that voters
were ted to about the provirice’s fiscal situa-
tion. They want to overturn the election of
three successful NDP candidates. We at HELP BC
are supporting this court chalienge because

NDP Running Scared

The NDP is taking this case seriously, In fact,
they are fighting the application tooth and
nail, pulling every legal trick in the book. First,
the Glen Clark government went to the BC
Supreme Court to try and quash the fraud
charge. That failed. Then they went to the BC.
Court of Appeal and failed again.

lying Means Fraud

It's no wonder they failed. Believe it or not, the
NDP tried to convince BC judges that lying was
not really fraud. The judges didn't buy it. In their
ruling, the BC Court of Appca! ruled that “fraud-

ulent means” included “misrepresentation of
a material fact which . . . leads voters to vote
for a candidate or party for whom the voter
would not otherwise have voted, and which
were made by or on behalf of a candidate

or political party knowing they were false, or
without regard to their truth or falsity.”
