Tillman, soccer's Carl Valentine,
the Canucks’ Trevor Linden, the
Vancouver Canadians’ Dick
Philips, the dapper Voodoo-man

just announced its disengagement
from Radisson Hotels, the U.S.-
based hotel chain which wis to
have provided a reservations system
for is 35-storey hotel property at
1600 Burrard. Peler now plans to
operate the 392-room hotel tower as
am independent. which ts definitely
not easy! The property will now be
known as The Wall Centre Plaza
Hotel and will have a global reser-
‘ations system. Its scheduled to
open in July.

It's too bad! The Radisson
would have been a first for
Vancouver...

crowd for their Razzmatazz “94. the
annual fundraising dinner at
Michael Kaile’s Waterfront Centre
Hotel.

There were about 350 guests and
most of then: wore their western
best. This was the first major event
to celebrate St. Paul's Hospital's
100th anniversary and everyone *
was getting into the mood.

The musical star of “Ain't
Misbehavin” and the recent
“Blowin’ on Bowen”, Denis

the U.S. consul general Michael
