THE STAR of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat, Donny Osmond, did arrive at Jaequi Cohen's
smash-bash party on Friday night along with his co-stars
Janet Metz in a Bob Mackie original and the rock and
rolling Pharaoh, Johnny Seaton,

The party wis the third annual
fundraiser for Jacqui’s ‘face the
World" Foundation,

Glitz and plitter, silks and satin,
long and slinky, short and sexy
and fots and fots of sheer see-
throughs! The ladies’ gowns rang-
ed from simple classics to simply
outrageous!

In many cases, there were more
body parts outside of the dress
than inside!

At $300 a ticket, all the
Beautiful Peopfe were there and a
number of stock promoters as well
like Murray Pezim and Frankie
Anderson who was still denying
any romance with his friend,
Sharon Stone,

Hostess Jacqui wore a tong,
slim, very low-cut black gown set
off beautifully by an original, or-
nately carved Bill Reid pendant
worth $200,000 on loan from the
Bushlen Mowatt Gallery.

Lyna Dix, Cynthia Woodward
and Jim Byrnes greeted guests at
the door of Jacqui’s spectacular
waterfront home.

Immediately spotted the
always-lovely Ani Feuermann and
Fran Belzberg and West Van
mayor Mark Sager and his pretty
wife Cathy. His fundraiser is on
July 8 at the Waterfront Centre
Hotel.

For the most part, | don’t think
I’ve ever seen such sleek phy-
siques. From personal trainers to
dedicated dieting, these ladies
really work at staying in shape —
one way or another!

For instance, one loquacious
lollypop couldn’t stop talking
about her spectacular bod -— or
the plastic surgeons who created it
for her! Talk about carving up
your assets!

Still celebrating their 23rd wed-
ding anniversary were Suzie and
Harry Moll.

Slender Suzie wore a pale green
strapless harem outfit while Harry
looked better than ever having
dropped 22 pounds.

Davina Zalesky was chic in
black, Husband Paul is thrilled
about a new heir or heiress come
October.

Bob and Lily Lee were there.
Lily in white and gold.

Evelyn and Don DeCotiis were
also at the do as were Arthur and
Joanne Griffiths — Joanne in
pink and black, Evelyn in bright
red.

BCTV’s Pamela Martin looked
exquisite in strapless black lace.
Steady beau Ken Hutchison look-
ed pretty good, too.

Orestes’ Beverley Haulf purred
in sleek sequins, Martha Sturdy
was pert in deep black, while
Nicole Reynolds was poised in
white and gold ruffles.

that item to $17,000 for a grand

The outstanding opera diva,
Judith Forse was the evening's
special guest entertainer who sang
selections from Bizet and one of
my favorites, Musetta's Waltz
Song from La Boheme.

Judith Forst is Don Lumty's
sister. Don is the president of Life
Underwriters,

To get the musical soiree off on
the right note Don sang the Largo
Facrotum from the Harber of
Seville, It was a complete surprise!

While U.TV's Mark Driesschen
emceed other celebrities in the
crowd were sprightly Jane Mor-
tifee who brought her dad, musi-
cians Barney Bentall and Leon
Bibb, former B.C. Lion football
players Gerald Roper and Rick
Claussen, Doriana Termolo and
her husband, U.TV’s Michael
Hall.

Joannie and Jack Lee were
there along with Mayor Mark
Sager and cute wife Cathy and
320 other happy dancing diners.

The best-known Big Brother
around, Murray Goldman, was
having a wonderful time tripping
the light fantastic.

Congrats to both Big Brothers
and the Life Underwriters who
successfully raised $16,000. ...
