By Suryj Rattan News Reporter THE PIONEER Grain Terminal property on Low Level Roac in North Vancouver City is the oldest industrial site on the North Shore. ' Pioneer Grain manager Gerry Skura says the history of the site goes all the way back to the 1863 opening of a sawniill. Pioneer, which is owned by the Manitoba-based James Richard- son and Sons Ltd., bought the terminal in 1972, although the terminal has been in its present focation since 1927. The facility was rebuilt in 1975 after it was destroyed in a fire.
