WV singer celebrates at QE

Ann Mortifee of West
Vancouver will return to the
Queen Elizabeth Theatre
September 19 and 20 for two
concerts celebrating the
release of her long-awaited
album, “Journey to Kairos.”

The QE Theatre concerts
will feature songs from the
album plus a number of new
songs written by Ann since
her return from Beirut,
Lebanon last year.

The QE concerts are part
of a tour which Sil take
ANN around te province
throughout September.

Joining Ann for = her
concert appearances will be
Robbie King, keyboards,
Tom Hazlett, bass; Henn
Lorieau, keyboards: Jim
McGillveray, drums = and
percussion, and = Steve
Dougias, woodwinds — all
of whom appear on the ncw
album.

title from Ann’s one woman
show “Journey to Kairos,”
which enjoyed highly
successful runs in Van-
couver and Toronto theatres
fast year. Ejight of the
album's nine songs are taken
from that stageshow.
Recorded at Vancouver's
Little Mountain Sound,
“Journey to Kairos” was
engineered by Hank~Qjcalo,
who recorded Carole King's
renown “Tapestry” album,
and produced by Steve
Dougias with Ann Mortifee.
“Journey to Kairos” will be
released on September 15th
