Ask, rather, if life and coffee (many people think you really cannot have one without the other) will be pleasanter if you use cups and saucers. Yes, indeed. She said her child still plays with some of the friends she met in preschool, and she said she has also kept in touch with a number of the mothers. Inglewood Preschool, which started 39 years ago, follows the phifosophy that the preschool ex- perience helps a child progress to the world outside the home, paving the way for the formal education of elementary school. In total there are 162 licensed child-care facilities on the North Shore. These include day-care cen- tres, family day-care homes and centres. for children with special handicaps. Parents can apply for a subsidy from the Ministry of Human Resources for child-care services.
