dar and Monterey cheeses, black
olives, tomatoes and onions.

Deep-fried, the. Chimichanga
was a mammoth Mexican version
of a Cornish pasty.

It was accompanied with side
dishes of sour cream and
guacamole sauce and a_ mildly
spirited salsa sauce.

The whole meal was big, chewy,
marvelously sloppy and very tasty.

My wife, meanwhile, ripped into
a Ragin’ Cajun Chicken Breast Fa-
jita ($7.95), while the wee man, in
fine form, sloshed giasses of apple
juice over our table.

Arriving singing hot in its own
cast iron skillet, the Fajita featured
strips of chicken breast enlivened
with a gentle Cajun pepper sauce
beneath rings of red onion.

Flanking its left and right sides
were good-sized portions of sour
cream and guacamole in crisp taco
shells.

Accompanying the whole feast
were four tortillas in a separate
container. The idea being to roll
the Fajita to personal specifica-
tions and tastes — an attractive
idea for the ambitious in-
dividualist.

Critique: ‘‘Tastes like more to
me,”’ she gasped gently.

Dessert selection at Red Robin
includes Monster Mudd Pie $2.95,
cheesecake $2.85 and something
called the Bombastic Tripl’d
Banana Blast $4.95 that is guaran-
teed to set any diet back months, if
not years.
