fined a total of $1,200 in
provincial court here this
month, after pleading guilty
to offenses under provincial
litter legislation and the
district of North
Vancouver’s waste disposal
bylaw.

. The two were charged
after a truck-load of garbage
was dumped just north of
the 4700 block of Mountain
Highway on January 31.

Hamod was fined May 9,
while Sowicki’s fine was
levied Wednesday.
