Wiotorcyclist killed

A motorcyclist died
Sunday on Highway 99
near Furry Creek.

Squamish RCMP attended
the crash scene ar 2:45 p.m,
approximately 16 kilometres
south of Squamish.

The temale drive of the
motorey was travelling
north. She apparently lost
control of the bike ard ended
ap in ditch. The rider was
treated by ambulance staff at
the scene and transported to
Squamish General Hospital,
where she was later pro-
nounced dead.

the accident.

Traffic was slowed consid-
erably for approximately one
hour. Several drivers had
stopped at the scene te pro-
vide assistance to the victim
unnul the ambulance and
police arrived at the scene.
