The new Commissioner Strect Overpass is sched- uled for completion on November 30, 1997. ‘ extension of Commissioner Street and the new over- pass will offer a dedicated roadway for Port traffic and customers, and will take port traffic off residen- tial streets. In addition, the project will allow safer access to New Brighton Park and Alberta Wheat Pool. During the construction phase, all Port Vancouver traffic is advised to access Commissioner Street via Victoria Drive, or the Clark Drive Overpass The SH million capital project is a joint effort between the Vancouver Port Corporation and the City of Vancouver with the support of Alberta Wheat Pool and Canadian Pacific Railway.
