held at recCentre Ron Andrews. Competing in the 30-39 years age 2
group. Mitchell finished the 800-metre swim, 20-kilometre cycle and A r LE ARAN( E S ALE
5-kilometre run in 1:02:14, followed by Sheila Clare (30-39 years) at > ]
1:09:40, and Erin Aspinall (16-19 years) at 1:10:39. In the men’s divi- a : _
sion the top three finishers, all in the 20-29 years age proup, were ~
bunched together with Matthew Allardyle leading at 58:26, followed
closely by Christophe Simon at 58:27 and Tony Matheson ai 58:37.
Other first places in their respective adult divisions in the men's in-
clude Chris Hancock (16-19 years), Tony Varga (30-39 years), and
Jeremy Van Den Driesen (40+); in the women’s top finishers include
Aspinall, Janice Davis (20-29 years), and Ursula Bentz (40 + ). Results
from the kids’ shortened race put Brent Helland (13-15 years) as the
faster competitor with Dhani Borges leading the boys 10-12 years,
while Sarah Thornber led the girts in the 13-15 years age group with
Aimee Hartley in first for the 10-12 year old girls,
