-Vancouver is the focus of a
disagreement between neigh-
bors.

Some residents say they want
better access to the park.

The unnamed foreshore park
Separates a currently listed property
from the shoreline, but over the

. years the municipality has granted
the current owners permission to
make several improvements to the
park. . .
~The owner, Ehor Boyanowsky,

built a set of stairs leading to the
water,

But West Vancouver parks man-

ager Eric Lees says the municipali-
ty still has official plans to improve
access to the water for all residents
in the area. .

Crone, “I am not so thick nor so
inconsiderate of my neighbor that I
want to use their steps, hanging
onto a railing bolted to the side of
their house, nor do I even want to
cross their private property in order
to get into our park.”

Meanwhile, last week
Boyanowsky’s home was adver-
tised for sale as a waterfront home.

But resideats and municipal
officials say the property is not, and
never has been, waterfront.

According to Lees the vendors
do not own property that abuts
water. . :

“The waterfront was designated
as a park in the original plan for the
neighborhood (in 1941),” said
Lees. :

Boyanowski maintains there is

nothing wrong with the manner in’

which his property is being adver-
tised. :

-“There are .propertics on
Bellevue Avenue that are adver-
tised us waterfront that have a road,

railway tracks and a park in front of

them,” he said... -
