Bylaw 6644 - Single Family Housing Regulations The proposed amendments apply througiout the District and are described as follows: A. Site Coverage Site coverage is the amount of lot area which a home, including an attached or detached garage, or carport may cover. The proposed bylaw amendment reduces maximum allowable site coverage from 40% to 35%. Ona typical 60 ft. by 120 ft. lot, the inaximum site coverage would decrease 7om 2880sq. ft. to 2520 sq.ft. Housing regulations under review B. Building: Height In order to reduce the impact of new single. family construction within existing neighbourhoods, maximum building heights and the maximum eave heights are proposed to be - reduced by two feet for all lots 40 feet or “in width.
