The Federation of B.C. Writers,
in partnership with the B.C, Festi-
val of the Arts, has Isunched its
Festival Writing Cor petition, open
to emerging liteiary artists of all
ages working in any genre, in-
cluding firtion, non-fiction, poetry
and children’s literature.

The 20 best and most promising
enirants will be invited to the festi-
val in Campbell River, May 25-29.
Workshops and consultations with
some of B.C.’s leading writers will
be attended and three grand prizes
of $200 each and three honorable
mentions will be awarded.

The entry fee is $5 and competi-
tion closes March 11.
