The Greater Vancouver Regional District pro-
poses to amend the Greater Vancouver
Regional! District Electoral Area “B” Zoning
Bylaw No. 511 and amendments thereto, by the
adoption of Greater Vancouver Regional District
Electoral Area “B” Zoning Bylaw Amendment

Bylaw No. 741, 1993.

The proposed amendment bylaw will re-desig-
nate from zoning classification “AS-2; Suburban
Residential’ Zone" to zoning classification “RM-
1: Multi Family Residential Zone” those lands
bearing the legal description of:

Strata Lots 17 and 18 of Lot A
District Lots 7763, 6396 and 5716, NWD

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to
permit the construction of a thirteen unit resi-
dential development comprising two separate
buildings of three storeys in height plus base-
ment parking, together with communal recre-
ational and physical! fitness facilities.

The site of the proposed zoning amendment
comprises approximately 3380 square metres
within the residential strata subdivision known
as “Ocean Point” situated on the east coast of
Howe Sound approximately 3 kilometres nerth
of West Vancouver and 2 kilometres south of

Lions Bay.

A public hearing to consider the proposed
amendment will be tiald on Wednesday, 2 June
1993, at 7:30 p.m. In the Lions Bay Village
Hall, 400 Centre Street, Lions Bay, B.C.

All persons who deem their interests to be
affected by the proposed amendment are invit-
ed to attend the hearing and to present their

views.

Copies of the proposed bylaw may be exam-
