Peter Speck, Publisher of the News and an avid sailor will conduct a pre-race skippers’ meeting on Thursday,
June 18, 7:30 p.m. at the North Shere News.

The Course:

From Dundarave Pier at 10:00 a.m. to a red marker (leave to port), set ¥2 mile WSW of Paint Atkinson Lighthouse
and then to the Point Grey Bell Buoy (leave to star-board), .7 miles off the centre channel marker and finishing at
the Committee Boat off Kitsilano Yacht Club at 3:00 p.m.

The Awards:

Award plaques will be awarded in many categories including Best Nautically Dressed Crew, Youngest Crew Member
and Most Enthusiastic Sailing Club. All judging will b2 ccndusted by the Awards Cornmities during the race itself;
there will be no inspection of vessels at the mocrage.

Awards ceremony will take place after the race in the Hoilywood Club at the Granville Island Hotel. A buffet of snacks
and sandwiches will be set up for hungry sailors.
