The North Shore Mayors’ Task Force on Work Related Childcare was formed to identify and act on opportunities for collaboration between North Vancouver City and District, corporate and public sector employers, and community service organizations such as the United Way, the chamber of commerce and the North Shore Child Care Resource Society. Information comparing employee needs in various workplaces is required for employers to consider col- laborative action. Such a survey is estimated to cost $14,000, which is to be shared among seven to eight organizations.
