N. Van firm donates computers NORTH VANCOUVER- based Sunshine Cabs recent- ly donated three computer terminals and printers to the Kompufind/Kidfinders Foundation. The foundation provides a free-of-charge, 24-hour emergency identification service. The system works simply. Registrants receive an identity tag or bracelet. If the person is lost, the finder dials the toll-free number shown on the tag or bracelet along with the registrant’s ‘‘kompucode’’. The terminals donated by Sun- shine Cabs will be installcd into the homes of foundation employees in order to make 24-hour access of the system more efficient. Said Jim Diana, director of sales for Sunshine Cabs: ‘‘We just recently changed over our own system and were delighted to be able to assist the foundation. We Pe really like what they’re doing and our drivers often come into contact with people who are disorientéd. So we know how important their work is.”" For more information contact the foundation at 683-FIND. eee THE NORTH Shore Stong’s Mar- ket stores are celebrating British Week April 2 to April 8.
