Dasics ARE YOU suffering from nagging back or neck pain? The North Shore YMCA's Back Basics course introduces tech- niques to help prevent and eliminate back pain. Theory will be combined with exercise to rein- force proper posture and work on the suppleness and toning of back musculature. This four-week program is taught by physiotherapist Tim Hunt, who takes special interest in the body alignment and joint mechanics of the spinal region and has experience treating various back ailments. The next sessions are scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning on Sept. 21.
