In accordance with this histori- cal event, the Grouse Mountain Volunteer Patrolless have orga- nized a benefit Patrol Aid night March 19 at Richard's On Richards from 7 to 9 p.m. Patrol Aid has received tremen- Members and friends from Grouse, Cypress, Seymour, Ar- rowsmith, Whistler, and Blackcomb mountains have been invited. Funds for the day-to-day opera- tion of the volunteer patrol are ob- tained from the sale of buttons that are sold regularly by members. The proceeds from the benefit night will provide the Grouse Mountain volunteers with much- needed upgraded equipment. Only 500 tickets are available for the March 19 event.
