LIONS BAY Parent Association will be sponsoring a
cultural and social evening.

An art exhibition, featuring six Lions Bay artists,
will be held on Friday, Now. 14 at 8 pom. at the ftons
Bay Community Hall, Centre Road,

There will be no admission fee. Hors d'oeuvres
will be served and a no-host bar is available.

The six exhibiting artists are:

Heidi Andrie - creator of handpainted raw silk hang-
ings and clothing;

Ann Hurst - painter in oils, of local seascapes:

Mary Comber Miles - artist to VanDusen Botanical
Gardens:

Victor Miles - painter in oils and aerylics;
Bill Keay - photographer, work includes local bird,
sea and wildlife;
Peter Sackville - sculptor in soapstone.

Local pianist, Gerri Mercer. will provide music.

Work by the artists will be available for purchase.
A portion of any sale proceeds will be donated by the
artists to the Lions Bay Parent: Association. The
association is raising funds for the purchase of com-
puter-relared equipment, gym equipment and a teach-
ers’ petty cash fund.

Sunday, November 16 will be a big day for all good boys and girls. Jolly
