celebrates
35th year

Association says it recognizes the
Miss North Shore Pageant as a
“major social event”? on the North
Shore and is pleased to be the host
for the pageant’s 35th year reunion
ball this August 2. :

Miss North Shore Pageant
Association has invited all past
candidates, including former
queens and princesses, and their
families to attend this semi-formal
occasion in celebration of its 35th
year as a North Shore institution
and an Expo special event.

It will be held on Aug. 2,.
from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., and will
feature the big band sounds of
Bobby Hales’ Orchestra.

Tickets are $25 per person and
can be purchased at - Capilano
Mall’s Orange Julius concessionary
or at Perfect Setting, 124 West
16th Street, North Vancouver.

Capilano Mall general manager
Phil McArthur says the mall as a
community goodwill gesture is
providing. the facility and is con-
tributing the cost of the orchestra
to help sponsors of the ball.
