B8 - Sunday, March 6, 1983 - North Shore News Sunday Feature Home : Story and Photos By Ellsworth Dickson Our second interior story is about the home of Hans and Ursula Mueller who live in the Canyon Heights area. When they bought their house five years ago, the lot é was subdivided and _ they were literally forced to renovate by knocking off a corner of the living room so construction could start on the house next door. This occurred the day after they moved in. Viewing this as an op- 8 portunity, they not only cut off a corner, they installed a fine brick fireplace and cedar panelling. Continuing through the house, knotty pine panelling was installed in the entrance . foyer. New wallpape cedar panelling has been added to the bedrooms. The kitchen was wall- papered and a nook built at one end. Downstairs, there is a bar and a_ large recreation room. Continuing their work, presently the Muellers are renovating the bathrooms, kitchen cabinets, painting the outside of the house, and roof. Filled with fine furniture, Mrs. Mueller’s pride and joy is a stunning dining room suite that was built in 1850.
