Although I am one of the first to support a neighborhood pub in the area, I can't help wondering why the matter is even under consideration when the same. proposal was rejected not long ago. If my memory serves me correctly, the G&P restaurant, across the street from Sager’s Maple Shop, has applied twice in the past for a pub licence, and been rejected. The location of these two businesses, and the potential noise factor, seem almost identical, therefore I can only assume that if Sager’s is granted a pub licence, the G&P’s missing prerequisite in the past was a heritage building. U. Hadeler | West Vancouver Customers . shouldn’ drive to pub Dear Editor: We read with interest your article on the parking problem for the proposed Sager’s Pub at Dundarave. This puzzles us. Isn't there | a law against drinking and driving?. So why encourage it by providing parking for patrons who shouldn't be driving anyway. The problem should be how to climinate parking facilities. Let those who wish to drink WALK to the pub! This could save them a lot of trouble - and maybe a life. Eve & Bob McLatchie West Vancouver VOTE FOR EXPERIENCE MURRAY DYKEMAN ‘FOR.
