If you are not already registered to vote you have 28 hours to get yourself on the list — spread over seven days. Friday was the first day of sittings in urban areas to revise the electoral list for the general election on February 18th. Eligible voters who do not already have their names correctly on the list have until February 4 to make ad- ditions, corrections or deletions. Revising officers will sit each day except Sundays from 10 to 11 a.m. — or longer if necessary — and from 7 to 10 p.m. The revision period for this election is actually three time longer than it was for the general election last May 22. There has been no. enumeration for the election February 18. The preliminary voters’ list has been compiled from the last election's official list which is more than six months old. Anyone who has received a notice of enumeration card with his or her correct name and address is properly inscribed on the electoral list and may vote February 18. This card contains in- formation about the time and place for voting. Any eligible voter who has not received such a card must apply for revision in order to correct or add to the list. If you live in North Vancouver-Burnaby riding (which extends from St. George's Avenue to Indian Arm), you should apply at the Elections Canada office for that nding, located at 4530 East Hastings Street, North Burnaby (291-8201). For eligible voters in Capilano riding (St. George’s Avenue west to Howe Sound) the Elections Canada office is located in the Kapilano 100 complex, South Park Royal, West Vancouver (925-1366).
