Trail work tomorrow THE North Shore Mountain Bike Association and the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) have joined forces to build new bike trails and upgrade existing oncs. ‘A trail maintenance day is being held tomorrow on the Lower - Bridle Path (off Riverside Drive on the Old Pipeline Road). --The goal of the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. work detail is to finish : restructuring the main route of this multi-use tail. Volunreers should bring their own tools (ic. shovels, work buots, work gloves); coffee, snacks and water will be provided. A ttle will be operating fom the end of Riverside Drive. i¢ NSMBA was formed in February 1998 to esrablish a uni- voice for mountain bikers, to preserve trails and ro be a model ~ for résponsible riding and good trail etiquette. Since that time, the NSMBA has been upgrading trails across ** the North Shore, establishing longterm trail crews and riding-eti- * quette training, a and i is working with the GVRD parks department on re-wniting official trail standards.
