NORTH Van RCMP Const. Tom Seaman holds an electronic stun baton seized along
with about 32 kilograms (70 pounds) of marijuana Jan. 7 from a residence in the
300-block of East 12th Street. Police say that the sophisticated hydroponic opera-
tion could yield about $400,000 worth of marijuana a year. Approximately $20,000
worth of hydrc 2onic equipment was confiscated by police. Charges are pending.
