And while you won’t sec the prerequisite star power and stretch limos at the festival as it kicks off today at nwo lozations in Vancouver, the Humongous Film Festival does boast 3 24-fikn lineup that is literally bigger than any film screened at Cannes, Toronto or Aspen. Devoted to the large format IMAX/OMN- IMAX 15/70 film genre, the festival runs through Wednesday, Sept. 24 ar the CN MAX Theatre at Canada Place and the OMNIMAX Theatre at Science World. Both theatres are showing movies, including Antarctica, Into the Deep and The Last Buffalo from noon till 10 p.m. everyday of the festival. The highlight of the festival will be director Jean-Jacques Annaud’s Wengs of Coxnrage, showing at Canada Place next Thursday (8 p.m.) and Sacurday (noon).
