Jade sculpture will be part of WV revitalization program

Ambleside Revitalization Project
which beautified much of the
business area between Clyde
Avenue and Bellevue Avenue and
coincided with the municipality's
Ambleside-By-the-Sea project) on
the waterfront.

Following an automobile tour
of the area. various dignitaries
will meet at the fountain, where
Lam will unveil a 12-tonne chunk
of jade.

“This gem marks the beginning
of time. Billions of years ago it
was at the bottom of the ocean. It

a formal reception for guests,
merchanis and the general public.

Reynolds rose at the end of the
council meeting to ask why the
placement of the jade sculpture
and the recent dedication of a
plaque commemorating Lanskail's
efforts in orginating the
Ambleside Seawalk had not been
referred through the Parks and
Recreation Committee or voted on
by council.
