AMENDMENT BYLAW_NO. 3579, 1990

(To establish additional fire limit areas within the area north
of the Upper Levels Highway, west to Pipe Creek, east to
McDonald Creek, up to Cypress Bowl Road)

Notice is given that Council will consider Fire Limit Bylaw No. 3566, 1989, Amend-
ment Bylaw No. 3579, 1990 at their Monday, 1990 April 09 meeting, to be held in
the Municipal Hall of The Corporation of the District of West Vancouver at 750-17th
Street, West Vancouver, BC., at 7:45 p.m.

Purpose: To establish additional fire limit areas within the area north of the Upper
Levels Highway, west to Pipe Creek, east to McDonaid Creek, up to
Cypress Bowl Road, to be known as Fire Limits and within such areas
regulate the construction of buildings for precautions against fire in areas
that are difficult or impossible to adequately service with fire protection
and to provide residential sprinkler protection in all new residential con-
struction and existing dwellings where renovation increases the gross
floor area by more than fifty per cent (50%). All construction of new dwell-
ing units or an increase to an existing dwelling by more than 50% of the
gross floor area require the installation of a residential sprinkler system
to the 13D Standard of the Nationa! Fire Protection regulation 1984 edition.

Within the geographic areas known as Fire Limit areas:
