NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of North Van-
couver, pursuant to Section 957 of the Municipal Act
of British Columbia, that a Public Hearing will be held
on MONDAY, APRIL 3, 1989 at 7:30 P.M. in the
Councii Chamber, City Hall, 141 West 14th Street,
North Vancouver, B.C., to receive representations in
connection with the following proposed amendments
to the “Zoning Map of the City of North Vancouver”,
which is an integral part of Bylaw No. 3778, known
as the “Zoning Bylaw 1967", and the “Official Com-
munity Plan Map”, which is Schedule “A’ to the “Ci-
ty of North Vancouver Community Plan Bylaw, 1980,

To amend the “Official Community Plan Map” by
reclassifying Lot G, D.L. 265, Plan 21683 from “'In-
dustrial” Land Use Designation to form part of the
“Retail Commercial” Land Use Designation.

To rezone Lot G, D.L. 265, Plan 21682, located at 1426
Fell Avenue,, indicated in hatched pattern on the map
below, from CS-1 Service Commercial Zone and M-3
Special Industrial Zone to CD-164 Comprehensive
Development 164 Zone to permit expansion and
renovation of the existing building.

The proposed bylaw will regulate permitted uses,
size, shape and siting of buildings and structures;
off-street parking requirements, location and screen-
ing of refuse containers; landscaping and
maintenance and will require sightline clearance at
the intersection of a driveway and a street. The bylaw
wil! provide a variance necessary to permit a building
setback of 6 teet from the rear lot ling.,
