the Farid Dordar Karate Academy
were big winners at a recent Inter-
national Top Karate tournament
held at Ron Andrews Community
Centre.

Winning first place for the 12
years and clder category was
Nanami Kataoka. Ali Fancy cap-
inured second place and Darcy
Tobin came third.

In the eight to 12 years advanced
category, Nina Fancy garnered
first place. Curtis Budau won se-
cond place and Shahab Nazemi
and Darrin Midler split third place.

In other action, Joel Synette
placed first in the five to eight
years advanced category, while
John Ross took second place and
David Proux and Sean Murray tied
for third place.

Fifteen years and over category
