Celebrini Chile-bound

CAPILANO COLLEGE praduate
and athlete Rick Celebrini has
gone into world-class soccer and is
slated to participate in the World
under-19 Soccer Championships in
Chile this month.

Since signing with the Edmonton
Brickmen soccer team iti May,
Ceiebrini was chosen to represent
Canada at the recent Pam
American Games in Indianapolis,
Ind.

Celebrini took the place of Steve
Jansen after the Toronto player
was banned for one match for be-
ing cautioned for the second time
in as many games.

While taking arts and sciences
courses at the North Vancouver
college, Celebrini played on the
Capilano team for two seasons.

After returning from his world
championship trip to Chile, he
plans to study physiotherapy at the
University of B.C.
