The conference, which is sponsored by the magazine, will be held at Rideau Hall Meet MLA _ ANGUS REE, MLA for Capilano, is inviting North Shore residents to meet and talk with Alan Passerell, MLA for Atlin. The former NDP MLA will be at a no-host breakfast to be held by the North Vancouver Capilano Social Credit Association at Cheers Restaurant on Saturday, November 16 at 9 a.m. Jack Kempf, MLA for Omineca and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Highways will also be a guest speaker. Tickets will be available at the door. with Governor General Jeanne Sauve from November 15 to 18. Sauve will lead the stu- dents in discussion of issues such as peace, the environ- ment, jobs and national uni- ty. Together they will iden- tify the most pressing issues and suggest solutions to communities across the country.
