Unable to draw a crowd i in North Van, the NorWes Caps are going to try a name change -and a change of venne in hopes of improving the fortunes of the B.C. Junior League franchise. | When the fall rolls around, the Caps will be found skating at Queen's Park Arena in New West- minster. The move of the Bruins to Kamloops opened the door of the arena to the Caps. And the name of the club will be changed to the New Westminster Royals. Caps started last season in disastrous fashion having problems finding the win column which forced the resignation of coach Vern Moberg who was replaced by Jim Hall. Hall managed to find the right combination and put together a team that was gaining respectability until the C.U.P.E. strike forced the league to cancel the remainder of the season and move into the playoffs. In the middle of the playoffs Hall suddenly | left the club. Owner Jim Harrigan said he will announce a two man coaching staff this week, Stating that both men are former NHE players. At one point last~ season Harrigan said there was a possibility of the Bruins moving to the North Shore, but constantly small turnouts at the North Van Rec Centre helped eliminate any possibility in that direction.
