Yard Trimmings Collection Ends After
Monday, November 30

The weekly municipal Yard Trimmings Collection Service for
North & West Vancouver will be stopping for the winter season
after Monday, November 30.

The weekly Yard Trimmings service will resume for the spring
growing season on March 1, 1999.

Please have ali of your properly bugged or bundled yard
trimmings out for final collection on your regular collection day
up to the final day of November 30.

For example:

if your regular coiiection day falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday or Friday, then your last collection day will be
November 24, 25, 26 or 27 respectively.

If your regular collection day is Monday, then your last
collection day will be Monday, November 30.

Shore Transfer Station at 30 Riverside Drive in North
Vancouver. Your first trip per day up to 100 kg. is no charge.
Additional loads and amounts over 100kg. are charged ata
rate of $6.50 per 100kg. Material dropped off at the
Chipping Yard will be composted.

Use your backyard composter. Don’t have one? Backyard
composters can be purchased at many local hardware &
garden stores. Composters may also be purchased any time
of year, 7 days a week at the Recycling Depot during
operating hours. The cost is $45 but payment is by cheque or
money order ONLY (no cash, debit or credit cards accepted).
