WELL, I sure got my
comeuppance.

But what a good one. IFT
have to be embarrassed by my
ignorance J don’t mind a bit if
it is in the guise of'a benefit
for you and me. What's more,
this is not just any old benefit,
and the best part is, it’s as
close as Marine Drive at
Pemberton, here in North
Vancouver. In the mall east of
Save-On, on the same side at
1186 Marine. When I was
telling you about the shop in
Kerrisdale, Free to Be, |
wished we could have such
convenience on our shores.

Well, ] found out we have,
thanks to Kim, one of the
operators of the store, who
called to tell me about it.
Thanks as well to Jill Blair,
Occupational Therapist at
Lions Gate Hospital, who
wrote me to apprise me of this
same store that she finds
invaluable. :

She agrees that Free To Be
is also a wonderful store but
that it is just too far away fora
lot of people from our area to
get to. In her letter she
described the stock as exten-
sive, but also stressed the help-
fulness of the staff and their
readiness to bring in any
equipment that is nor already
onhand.. ~ -

I am very happy to be able

to pass all this on, and very
grateful to the young men and
women who run the place. I
was quick to go down fora

Well, 12.5% of all drugs. pre-
sctihed were for cardiovascular
problems. The second highest
group at 12.3% were anti-infec-
tives. Number three in the list (at:
9.9%) is the psychotherspeutic
