34 - Wednesday. August 21, Mee 1991 —- North Shore News Meet team challenge in Sussex Reality Fun Run SUSSEX REALTY and the North Shore Credit Union are issuing a challenge to al! North Shore organizations to enter a team in the Sussex Realty Fun Run. On Sept. 22, runners and walkers will participate in the event to raise money through the collection of pledges to benefit the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation and the Lions Gate Medical Research Foundation. To enter a team, attach all team-member race forms and enter by Sept. If. A team must have a minimum of four and « maximum of 10 entrants. The top four times in each team will qualify for the $500 of prize money. Prizes will be awarded to the team collecting the most pledges and the team with the most creative name. Only four of the 10 team members need to be runners; the other members can participate in the two-kilometre kid walk, the five-kilometre family walk or the aerobics workout. Individuals in each team will also be eligible for sponsorship money totalling $4,000. Draw prizes are available to all entrants, including walkers. Entry forms are available at all Sussex Realty offices, any North Shore Credit Union, the North Shore News, the North Shore Winter Club, Superstar outlets and North Vancouver recreation centres. Beiie Sept. 7, the entry fee is $21 with a $2 discount for B.C. Athletics members. Late registra- tion is $24 and same day registra- tion is $31. The 8 a.m. walks travel through Bridgman Park traiis while the 8:30 a.m. 10-km run travels along Riverside Drive and back through Bridgman Park trails.
