THE RADIO has just given me the news — it’s 25 © out-
side. That means it’s at least 30 in here — and I should be
trying to write a cooking column?

Every hot August day [| make a
whole lot of resolutions (about as
well kept as my New Year's ones)
that:

* The first cool, rainy day | will
spend time cooking, baking and
freezing stuff that I can re-heat in
the microwave for hot days.

* | will write six food columns to

conditioned or otherwise, that
might pose a problem but I will try
to handle it.
