SEARCHERS ARE still conducting spot searches in the Mount
Seymour area in hopes of finding the body of Carlo (Charlie)
Musso, missing there since Sept. 7.

Musso’s wife Maria aud a psychic continued searching for the
6l-year-old Burnaby man after the search was called off Sept. 12,
but found no trace of the man, who went missing after apparently
going for a hike in the area.

“You never know, we might still go up (searching) again,"
Maria Musso told the News Tuesday. ‘‘(But) it’s getting colder and
people are getting tired.’

Over the past few weekends, North Shore Rescue Team members
have been training in the Mount Scymour region, recombing some

- of the areas searched earlier.

“There was nothing that showed up at all (during those sear-

ches),”’ said Jeff Jefferd, coordinator of the North and West Van-
_couver Emergency Program.

Search teams wili continue to train in the area ‘‘to keep an eye
open” for any sign of Musso, but Jefferd is not hopeful they will
find the missing man.

“More than likely it'll be some hiker who will find him,’’ said
Jefferd.

a jail term

Man stands trial!

A WEST Vancouver man has been
ordered to stand trial in Vancouver
court on charges of break, enter
and theft and dangerous driving.

Gary Frederick LeClure, 36, is
scheduled to appear Oct. 21. The
charges stem from a break and

of West Vancouver earlier last
month.

After a high-speed car chase,
West Vancouver Police captured
