AN ALL -PARTY parliamentary committee
will be coming out with several recommenda-
tions this week on improving equality in
Canada. One of those recommendations is to
give women the right to fight in combat in the
armed forces. Inquiring reporter asks people

on the street if they agree or disagree with

such a philosophy. Today’s question is:
Should women fight
in the armed forces?

in all ways, so if that’s
their wish to become part
of the military, then |
believe.it’s their right.

are stronger than women
physicaily, but I don’t see
that as being a probiem.

should, but that is not the
only thing I feel women
should not do. Women
do not have the abilities
to fight without being
badly hurt.
