New Pleasure Craft Legislation
The Canadian Coase Guard (CCG) has introduced legislation
requiring certain people to obtain their “Pleasure Craft Operator”
card to operate a power-driven boar starting April 1, 1999.

As of September 15, 1999 people under the age of 16 must have an
“Operator Card” and are limited to 4Ohp engines and under the age
of 12 are limited to iOhp engines.

CPS BoatPro Courses

Accredited by the Canadian Coast Guard, will provide you with
your “Pleasure Craft Operator” card. The one-day. workshop (Sep 25,
Oct 23, and Nov 20) costs $60. Course location: Capilano Mall,
Suite #77, opposite Panda Shoes. Limited class size. For course
