The event will take place at the North Vancouver Recreation Centre on Saturday May 10. The doors will open at 7 p.m. svith music and dancing from 8 p.m. until midnight. Although most of the olayers are between 6 and 12 years of age, with more playing up to 18, this special evem: has been arranged as a fundraiser for all parents, friends and sup- porters of Little League Baseball who are over the age of 19. In addition, North Shore Twins Baseball Association Chairman, Rocket Norton, will bring his famous band, The Rocket: Norton Band, to the event with guests stars Mike Reno (Loverboy), Al Horowitz (Vrism), Mike Sicoly (Revolver: The World’s Best Beatles Show) and Barney Bentall. The Baseball Bash and Dance will raise much needed money for the Little Leagues and the North Shore. Twins. : . Celebrate Canadian Citizensh p by Tel us Your Story This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Canadian Citizenship Ceremony and we would very much like to receive stories from those people who have come to Canada over the last half century and have chosen to live on the North Shore. The entries will be read by the North Vancouver and West Vancouver Canada Day committees and the writers of the ten most interesting/unusual stories will be part of the opening ceremonies at this year’s Canada Day celebrations.
