A SENSITIVE, caring short: term companion is needed to assist elderly clients during a brief period of agitation. The volunteer will help the patient adjust to their normal level of health. The hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. for one or two weeks, and the companion will work on an on-call basis. A CHILD abuse prevention program requires caring profes- sional people to communicate in- formation to secondary students and community groups. Extensive training sessions are mandatory and a commitment of six hceurs per week required. AN ORGANIZED clerical worker is needed by a community service society to do some filing, typing and other generai office duties. The volunteer will work on Fridays and the hours are flexible. HOSTS and hostesses who are fluent in English are needed to dress in late 19th century costumes and welcome the public to an his- torical village. This is an excctlent opportunity for seniors.
